For questions about being an Ambassador:
Contact Ambassador Assistant Christine Loos, 1-800-944-3450, ext.4195 or christine.loos@lhm.org

As the media auxilliary of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and Lutheran Church-Canada, LHM relies on volunteers to carry its mission forward. For 70 years, we've produced the world's oldest, continually broadcast Gospel radio program. Our Gospel messages are heard worldwide-and our television programs have earned numerous awards of excellence.
The Ambassador's Role
Our ambassadors are the 'face' and 'hands' of LHM. From staffing "Living for Tomorrow" phone banks to organizing a mission festival, LHM is a natural extension of your churh's evangelism and outreach efforts. As an ambassador, here are some of the things you'll do:
Give Interesting Presentations
LHM makes presenting easy. Frequently you'll receive:
  • Pre-designed presentation talking points
  • Promotional materials
  • Tips on generating congregational interest and involvement
  • The Envoy Newsletter
Media Sundays
For special worship services-February Lutheran Hour Sunday and September Lutheran TV Sunday-you'll receive church bulletin inserts and self-addressed envelopes for contributions. Ask you pastor for time to present LHM programs.
Offer a Personal 'Thank you'
You're the 'face' and 'hands' of LHM. Thank members who support our ministry. We make this easy for you-with monthly donor activity information.
Be a Savvy Recruiter
New donors and volunteers are the life-blood of any ministry. Invite participation in LHM programs. You may want to:
  • Personally deliver LHM's new "Live the Gospel" brochure.
  • Ask your pastor to approve a yearly solicitation mailing through LHM.
  • Review congregational lists for Hoffman Society and major donor candidates.
  • Work with your District Manager for recruiting ideas.
